Yay you! Congrats. What you are feeling is normal. I am certain most of us had some anxiety mixed in with excitement. You will be fine......good luck! :)

See you on the other side.

Congratulations! Hugs to you! Don't be worried, we will all be here for YOU. USE your support team, here. Lots of answers are here in this forum. Follow your doctor's orders and please take the pain meds when you are suppose to. Don't try and tough it out, especially take the pain meds before your sleep time, to get a good nights rest. Please use your heating blanket

We will greet you on the "other" side.

Best wishes and Keep the Faith.

Good luck and congratulations!! All of your emotions are completely normal! Expect to be in pain and immobile because if you expect the worst, it can only be better. sleeping may be difficult so have lots of pillows ready. Make sure you keep drinking and moving afterwards b/c it will help you move gas around. Just remember you will get through it, even at your worst, you will get through it! Also, you may wanna wash your sheets ahead of time b/c you'll probably be in bed for a few days!

Best of luck! Keep us posted!

Thanks all! Mathis new support system is wonderful. I'm just worried about stupid little things mostly, like getting the catheter out, and the clear liquid phase.

Be honest- what was the worst thing about your surgery experience? And then, to make me feel better, what has been the best? ;)

I was super nervous having crazy dreams the night before, the morning of i was semi shaking walking in the hospital but as i got prepped i was magically fine i was not nervous i was excited! I had a long wait and next thing i was wheeling back and scooting myself from one bed to the other, next i was in recovery like What?? Lol i asked the nurse how did it go shes like great you been here over an hour knocked out lol!!! I'll be 1 week post op tomorrow I feel great, slight gas pains here and there and patiently (sike) waiting to move onto purees lol

CONGRATS AND GOOD LUCK!!!

Yay! Best Wishes for your surgery tomorrow!! :)
