Hi I have been banded 1 wk ago and I was just wondering why I have that bulge in my stomach. Will this go away???

not sure what you are referring too... because I dont know how much belly fat you have... but are you talking about your port? I could feel mine right away but couldnt see it ....

My port stuck out like a golf ball at the incision. Its gone down nicely. Also I was bloated beyond all get out from the gas. Slowly but surely everything went back to normal.

Yes it's the port but is it supposed to stick out like that? No I really didn't have that much belly fat. I went it weighing 193 lbs after my liquid diet preop so I really didn't have that much belly fat

Oh and I weighed in at about 256 the day of surgery and I do have belly fat! I think it was just swollen from the incision. Right now you can't see it but you can feel it with a little bit of pressure.

I had surgery on the 19th and my stomach is still like a balloon filled with air. Gas is starting to dissipate but I have a big old gut right now! :-)
