Pre-Surgery "LIST"

I am three weeks from being banded, and will start my pre-op on Feb 18th so technically I have one week left as "the old me." I'm just curious what you would say was your one regret from before you were banded (I'm not talking about the band being a regret, I'm talking about wishing you had _[fill in the blank]___ one last time before the band) or what you are glad you made time for before your banding.

I'm so excited my mind is racing right now!!! I don't want to forget anything!

Well, my surgery is in 12 days, and I too am trying to get all my "lasts" in just in case. Had my last pizza, last bag of chips, last DQ Blizzard... This weekend I'm hitting up the best steakhouse in town for my last filet mignon. ;) It's not sad really, for me to think of these things as all "lasts" i see it as exciting because these are the things that really made me heavy in the first place. LOL

My only regret was waiting so long to do it!

Also, never say never. After losing a lot now I have learned to listen to my NUT and do eat great food still, just more cautious and a he'll of a lot less. I would have a filet now, but only 2-3 ounces instead of 8! Hopefully you will make changes and enjoy food again, just differently.

Good luck. It is exciting!

I wish I would have known that it was going to be this hard. I never thought it would be easy but maintaining is really hard for me anyways.
