So Bloated

Hi all I'm new to lap band talk so far I'm lovin it. I'm 9 days post op and I'm feeling so bloated all the time. My tummy is actually bigger than it was prior to surgery. I've lost a few pounds but you can't tell with this stomach . Can anyone let me know how long this will last .

Thanks, I've stopped taking the pain meds and trying my best to drink more water and the swelling has finally gone down some.

Are you still taking pain meds? Pain meds will slow your digestive system down causing fluids to stay in your stomach and intestines longer than usual? Also, swelling hangs around longer with some than others?

I was bloated for about 7-10 days after surgery.

Don't worry about the weight loss right now, let your body heal.
