  1. Thanks Kiley.... I'm a little nervous.
  2. So I had my first fill and ouch it hurt and I still feel a little pain, is this normal?
  3. I wouldn't worry too much about it just yet. Remember you cleaned out your system before surgery and now your eating close to nothing so give your body some time to catch up. It took me 7 days after surgery to have a bowel movement and it was fine.
  4. Hey MandaMom23 just reading your thread , I'm 10 days post op and its getting easier but I'm there with ya sister. Concerning your dinner on Saturday, perhaps you can check the menu of the venue you're going to and see if they have any creamed soups. If they do perhaps they can even strain it for you. My other suggestion is something that I actually did, which is I bought a hot food thermos and filled it with my split pea soup. When I went shopping with my son I actually ate that for lunch, it was very convenient. I don't know if you'd like to do that at a restaurant but it might be easier for you than sipping on water while everyone else is chowing down. Good Luck!!
  5. Thanks, I've stopped taking the pain meds and trying my best to drink more water and the swelling has finally gone down some.
  6. Yes I'm 9 days post and still have some incisional and gas pain.
  7. Hi all I'm new to lap band talk so far I'm lovin it. I'm 9 days post op and I'm feeling so bloated all the time. My tummy is actually bigger than it was prior to surgery. I've lost a few pounds but you can't tell with this stomach . Can anyone let me know how long this will last .
