Haha, yeah. I'm on day 4, and I thought I'd be all good to go by now..pppffft. Apparently I forgot I was having major surgery. Still getting worn out quite easily, and having pain especially where the port is. Trying to sleep at night hasn't been going so good for me either. It IS getting better everyday, and it will for you too! Hang in there!

Oh man, I hope I'm better by Monday! I go back to work, full speed ahead! So. Much for Its a minor surgery, 3-5 days and your better...grrrrr.

Shoulder pain is gone, just incision pain....pain meds every 3 hours on the bottom.

Speedy recovery ladies

Hopefully you'll be feeling better by monday when you go back to work! My dr told me to take two full weeks off, so that's what I did.

Really 2 weeks! Crap.

Yep! I honestly thought that seemed like a long time, but now I'm glad...Not sure I could go back to work this weekend already...but I also work nights which I think is harder on the body in general.

Ya that night shift stuff is rough Mandy. I do outside sales and have to give a presentation om Monday. They'll be eating pizza:(

Good luck with your presentation! Isn't it crazy how everything in life seems to involve food of some kind? Meetings, family gatherings, time with friends...ugh! food food food!! Never really paid attention until recently!

My daughter wants to go out to dinner for her birthday on Saturday...can't tell her no, but not sure what I'm going to do (just sip on ice Water while everyone else eats?! YIKES!)

Oh man, I hear ya. food, wine, everywhere. Order a Soup.....

This pain sucks ! And the tylenol 3's r upsetting my tummy, not much orating on he belly :(

Aww, I'm sorry. Can you call and maybe get a med that won't upset your tummy?

Hey MandaMom23 just reading your thread , I'm 10 days post op and its getting easier but I'm there with ya sister. Concerning your dinner on Saturday, perhaps you can check the menu of the venue you're going to and see if they have any creamed soups. If they do perhaps they can even strain it for you. My other suggestion is something that I actually did, which is I bought a hot food thermos and filled it with my split pea soup. When I went shopping with my son I actually ate that for lunch, it was very convenient. I don't know if you'd like to do that at a restaurant but it might be easier for you than sipping on water while everyone else is chowing down. Good Luck!!
