beginning my journey...

Well, the scale doesn't lie... Its telling me I'm at 344... Its not where I want to be but its the highest I'm going. PERIOD! I have been looking into getting banded for several years now and last year I finally got the recommendation from my endocrinologist to have the surgery done. Well, long story short once I contacted my insurance (Anthem BC/BS) I was advised that it wasn't covered at all. This deterred me and I have spent three past year battling it out on my own.

Now lets fast forward to the past few weeks. I have found out that my primary doctor recommended new get the procedure and the best news of all is the band is supposed to be covered 100% with by my work insurance.

This is an incredibly stressful process but I know that the fight I'm putting up with now is nothing compared to what I am going to gain
