I was on liquids for 4 weeks after surgery, so I didn't get mushy food until the 5th week. Yes, I've had a lot of success actually. I've lost 181 pounds in the year since I was banded.

Hi guys, I moved into the mushy stage early (as per the ok of my docs dietician, however I Confused about the portion size ill explain. The book my clinic gave me said 1 cup serving size per meal, but on there site is says 1/2 cup per meal. (I saw this yesterday).
I have been having 1 cup and have had no issues but I am concerned if I am over doing it I may be stretching my pouch. I have been having things like pureed spaghetti (a suggested recipe in my book) and tomato Soup for lunch Protein shake for Breakfast.
Just wondering what others have been told
