  • Then I would think its water retention and it should even itself out after the 5 days....

how many calories of liquid are you drinking?

Yesterday was 940 my total calories

well, if i drink (a big bottle of water) i will gain that liquid

your weight goes up and down when you drink or eat..

does that broth have sodium/salt? that can lead to Water retention...i would not worry about it (as long as its liquids) as it should pee out.,,that being said, 3500 cals is a pound whether you drink it or eat it so you have to be the one who deals with that on your counting.

Oh OK that makes sense thanks guys

I'm also currently doing the 5 day pouch test. After my first day of 700 calories and going to the gym I gained half a pound!
