Regular Diet

I'm finally on a regular diet after going through the phases of clear, full liquid, puréed, soft & I'm finally here!!!! Yayyyyyy me. Any suggestions? Do my portion sizes get bigger than 1-2oz...lol

Protein 3-4 ounces, 1/4 cup veggies, and 1/4 cup of a starch is you have room. Tiny bites, and chew everything to mush! The world opens up from here. Be very careful with meats that are at all dry. add some sauce.... aids chewing and swallowing.

Agreed. I highly recommend a food scale. You will underestimate if you don't measure.

Thanks Cheznoel & Honk!!! I have my good days & bad days but so far since my surgery date in Dec. I've lost 30lbs so I want to keep losing until I can start going to the gym. Honk I did buy a food scale so I could make sure I'm getting the correct portion size...,will be picking it up today from Walmart.
