Just wondering now much time everyone took off from work after being banded, also where my port is very swollen , Is this normal.

I had surgery late on Thursday so I had Friday the weekend then 5 business days and another weekend. So a total of 10 days.

It will be swollen for a long time. I am 6 weeks post and it is still swollen and sore to the touch.

My port wasn't swollen but very tender for a month or so.

I was banded on Thursday and went back to my desk job on tuesday for two half days then back full time on Thursday
