Good luck! The first 24 hours after you will be sleepy, but make sure you grt up and walk around your house every few hours.

Good Luck, I wish you well, I go the 29th of Jan and am very excited and nervous. Please keep us updated on your success...

Nervous is normal. Just sip and walk when you can once you are home. Congrats on your surgery!

Good luck! You will probably be pretty sleepy at first. I wasn't terribly sore the first 12-ish hours but once I woke up the morning after surgery I was pretty sore. It basically feels like you've done a LOT of sit-ups...but I don't say this to make you more nervous! Just make sure you keep moving and drinking water :)

Know that the first couple days you may feel not 100%. Mainly because your insides have been knocked around some. it is normal. Achy and tired are normal.

Sip as much as you can. Remember sf popsicles count for sipping to.

And you may have a sore throat from the tube. Normal.

But it is sooooooooo worth a coupke days of just not yourself, because the next thing you know you feel better than your old self!!!

My surgery was 12/17. I'm down 25lbs.
