need help on post-op liquid diet

I need some suggestions on what to eat. I'm going on my 6th day post-op and can't stand another protein shake. The thought of them make me nauseated. I've had eggs blended with broth, applesauce, yogurt, baby food, sugar free jello, sugar free popsicles. I'm starving n everything I have makes my stomach turn. I need protein bad to keep me satisfied. Any suggestions??? Please help.

Call your Dr and see if they will let you have anything else.

Your lucky to be having shakes....I am 5days post and am on water, tea with no sugars or milk and crystal light drinks and ice chips. I go for a follow up to morrow and then get to have a shake....its hard ...I just keep thinking I am worth it as you are..hang in there it should get better

I was allowed to have runny farina at that stage as well as thinned out unsweetened applesauce. What does your doctor say?

Thank u all for the support. Went back n 're read the instructions n I can have cream of wheat, reduce fat n low sodium creamy soups, sugar free pudding, enriched milk for added protein. Wow how did I miss that??? Life is better today but I still can't wait to eat some real food.
