I started solids at 4 weeks and it was the same for 22 months of losing

3 meals a day of 3 oz Protein, 1/2 c veggies, 1/4 c starch

2 Snacks of sugar free sweet or fruit

64 oz Water

Total daily intake 1000 calories..

I would suggest you consult with your dr to see what he/she suggests

At 4 weeks post op I was introducing sold foods, I was doing a lot of yogurt, shredded deli meat, shredded salads, and some cereal. I don't know if your suppose to have cereal but I didn't have any troubles with it. I'm down 27lbs in 6 weeks.
