Chest pain

Hi was banded on 12/21 and I tried my first solid yesterday for lunch which was ground beef but yesterday evening I began to experience sharp chest pain don't know if its gas or heart burn. I still have the pain on and off. I went to true results dr today n they took fluid out to see if it would help but I'm here at home now and still feel the same. Could this be heart burn? Can I take anything for heart burn? Anybody?

Since you went to the dr I assume they ruled out heart trouble. If not please go get that checked.

That said ground beef is a pretty tough first food s soon off surgery in my opinion.. It fatty and maybe you ate too fast or didn't chew enough.

Try taking sips of Water and call your dr for recommendation on what heart burn medication you can take if that's what you think it is. I personally think it was just a hard food to digest and time will heal. But I am not a dr so that's the best place to ask to know for sure.
