what type of diet is it?

Three month diet? What does the diet consist of? I had a 4 month waiting period in which I had to complete stuff like 2 nutritional counseling appointments, psych eval, blood work, medical clearance, sleep study, 10 lb weight loss and a 2 week pre-op diet which consisted of 2 protein shakes and 1 meal of 3 - 4 oz of lean meat, 1 cup of veg, 1 cup of fruit (no dairy). The 2 week diet was the surgeon's requirement to shrink my liver for easier band placement (and helped me meet the 10 lb weight loss).

It's a diet that insurance makes you go through 3 months before the fact ... It determines whether they approve it or not. I have to write down everything I eat for three months and I have to write down behavior methods I've changed. Idk how to do it... It i have to change what I eat right away or do I simply go about my day and just write everything down ?

I think to be sure I would call the insurance coordinator at your Drs office.... they have no doubt been asked this before. Better to be safe than sorry.

I have a six month diet to complete. I was told to write everything that I eat down. I've been trying to stick to a 1200 calorie diet, 8-10 glasses of water and some kind of exercise daily.

I have the 6month dr. Monitored diet. I am doing the southbeach diet. I have to go in every month and get weighed in. I am losing I just hope its enough for the insurance co to approve once March 2013 comes!!

Who is your insurance

Sent from my SAMSUNG-3S because it is wise and all knowing...
