Starting day 1

Starting in the morning my first day of liquids. I am getting banded on the 10th. It is getting close so I am starting to get very nervous. Any suggestions on how to calm down a little ?

Just focus on the task at hand...you are embarking on a wonderful journey. Know that the first few days of liquids can be rough but do not give in to the need for food...it's just fuel...and the liquid will prep you for a successful surgery. Best wishes.

Being nervous is totally understandable! I just kept thinking about how much better my life was going to be. Deep breathing and praying.lol

Night before surgery I was calm, slept all night and had no problem showing up for surgery.

Hanging out here helped too.

Best Wishes on your journey!

Yup mine is on the 8th and I'm freaking out and can't wait as well as feeling really nervous and worried. I keep on thinking of all the bad things... But I'm trying to meditate and relax as I know it puts strain on my body.
