Just wondering.

It's been exactly 1 week since I've been banded and so far I've already lost 20lbs ! I went from 310 to 290 as of today. Does this seem like normal weight loss progress ? I knew you would start losing weight but I didn't think it would be this fast. I'm hoping this doesn't stall my weight loss in the future .

Yes im losing two everyday n still nervous but happy 40dwn for me n my surgery was on the 10th CONGRATS KEEP IT GOING

IM MY OWN MOTIVATION

I don't remember losing that much so fast but I wouldn't be complaining lol. I lost steady in the beginning but I can remember losing one a day. Two years later I'm down 125lbs and still losing :)

I think I lost 40 lbs the first 5 weeks or so.... Which of course was basically 4 weeks of liquids and of mushies.... And I had a lot of weight to lose so it just fell off. After that I averaged 10 lbs a month...meaning some months it was 5 and others it was 15 lbs... It slowed down when I was about 50 lbs from goal....as it took about 6 months to lose the remaining lbs.

Quick lose isn't uncommon considering you go months and years or eating crappy then all of a sudden you change it up drastically. Your body is doing a happy dance!!!
