Staple Removal

Does it hurt? Well everyone has a different threshold for pain. Mine is pretty low. I get my staples out Thursday and with everything going on, I just got nervous! Lol Did it hurt to get your staples removed?

  • I really haven't heard of ppl with staples. Mostly glue and steri strips. But I did have staples with hysterectomy and it doesn't hurt at all. Tugging but no pain. Good Luck!

No need to be nervous! I had my staples removed at my 1 week post op appointment and barely felt a thing. Just a tiny tug on the skin...no more than if you pulled the skin on the back of your hand. Good luck!
