First Fill Today?? 6 Week Chk...

Sitting here waiting to see my surgeon Dr. Mitchell to find out if I need a fill. I haven't seem my surgeon since after my surgery I have seen my family doc and she has said that everything looked good at that point. I'm down 28 pounds in total so I'm thrilled about that but I have had a few stuck episodes and that sucks!! So anyways now I will see if I need or get a fill today I'm a lil nervous about it although I hear its not to bad. Guess we will see..

Good luck! If you are having stuck episodes without a fill you probably don't want another one just yet. Keep taking small bites, tiny bites even and chew, chew, chew. I had a tough time with what a small bite was I was so used to stuffing myself. If you do get a fill, stick to liquids today and soft foods tomorrow!

My nurse says the size of your finger tip but that seems a lil big to me.

So I had my fill surgeon did the first one it was so painful!! He couldn't find the hole he tried 3x before he got it in!! I was almost ready to say forget it! Only had .2 due to the stuck episodes so I will have my next one in 3-4 weeks hopefully that one won't be so bad!!

Getting used to taking small bites and chewing well is definitely one of my biggest challenges!! But I'm working on it!!

My surgeon does it under an xray machine, and he numbs it first. He is seeing on screen exactly where needle is going into port.

I get to see my doc nov 30, I've got 2 cc in band now that the doc put in during my operation April the 24 th next week marks my 7 mth. Still no fills hopeing and praying I get one in two weeks , didn't sound to promising tho, starting to gain back the 50 lbs that I lost , so far gain 10 back so far, that's the greatest fear I have gaining it back, my doc doesn't like doing fills tho, and I havnt been able to find another doc yet , I'm on Medicare medical disabiled , and live in gridley ca, I have to travel at least a hour to sac to see the doc , I call one doc in Chico and he wanted $ 1,000. Dollars cash for me to take classes, I told him that I've done all the classes, he takes Medicare but, still wants$1,00 . Up front, if anyone knows of a doctor not to far from my home, that takes Medicare , please let met know? Please? I can't drive in sac so I've always got to find someone to drive me, but smaller towns like Chico I can drive in, I've already gotten one car totaled out in sac . Thank god for ins.please if anyone knows a doc with in hour or hour and half at most from my home in gridley ease let me know? And not sac , already done that route and its not working , at 7 mth I think I should of a had a fill or two, I need one, thanks
