3 Days Post Op

I am 3 days post-op and feeling ok. I am having a lot of gas pain but I know that is normal. I have been following the diet and just started on Protein shakes. How long until I start to lose weight? My scale said I gained 6 lbs since my surgery!! I am a little freaked out!

Thanks!!

This is normal. Please do not focus on losing weight but on healing for the first month or so. Also, many people do gain. They pump you full of so much liquids during surgery and you are bloated, etc.

If you follow the rules you will lose. But you may not see it for a week or so because your body is still in surgery mode... Be patient and drink as much Water as you can.
