How About Medicine?

I don't take anything daily, but have to take Relpax for migraines and Valtrex for cold sores- how does taking medicine work without getting stuck? I surely don't want to chew either of them up!!

Get a pill cutter at the drug store... That will solve the problem. :)

Relpax is small, I would not expect you to have a problem with it. As for the Valtrex, cut it in half or ask for a liquid version.

Ask your doctor. I was able to swallow mine 3 days post op no problem.

I did not have any problems swallowing pills. Please make sure to check with doctor or pharmacist before crushing or cutting any pills. Not all pills can be cut especially. If you are on anything extended release.
