Hi all,
I recently posted on here to get some additional information about lapband with plication (plication is when you have your stomach folded and stitched and then have your lapband placed overtop of that). The only question I have now is if there is any information out there about the long-term affects of doing the plication of the stomach. I know the results are much better but if anything were to happen, and I have it undone, can the stitches be taken out & will my stomach go back to normal? I know its similar to the sleeve, but I also know its a pretty new surgery and Im just curious if there is any addition information out there. My doctor said he can't tell me where I will be in 5-10 years but just that the results are much better. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Mandy
