Flying 1 Week Post-Op?

I am scheduled for surgery on 12/4. I'm supposed to leave for a business trip on 12/11. That would put me flying at 1 week post-op. Has anyone flown that soon after surgery? I'm pretty nervous about the whole thing. I'm going to a conference so it will be a lot of sitting around...nothing strenuous.

I wld think you be ok but most likely very tired and you will need to move around and walk especially if you still have gas pain. Also, to prevent blood clots. Check with your doctor. The first four days are the worst but everyone is diffrent. Good Luck!
