Can I Do Zumba

I am 3 weeks post op. my dr. Said when I feel I can start exercising I can. OCD here and I need dates. Lol. Can I do Zumba tonight?

I would give it a try if you are feeling well. You may tire out and have to stop before the class is over, but do what feels right for you!

You can always modify the moves to your ability right now. I would take it a bit easy as your port and stuff is still healing and there is a lot of belly movement in Zumba.

Give it a try, but be sure to listen to your body. When it gives you that I'm tired warning stop! Don't push on.

I was back to exercising and running about 2 weeks post banding and found that wearing a back brace (or ace bandage) helped 'stabilize' me in front and kept the pain from my fat/port area jiggling down to a minimum. Might not work for u, but maybe worth a try.

I was also thinking the same thing. I'm gonna go watch a class first just to get a feel. Yikes!

Your body will be talking to you if you can't!
