October 26, 201213 yr I got it done, went great, no pain so far. Feeling real good. Was in at about 1, and came home about 5. Very happy and relieved. Best part insurance covered 100%. How is everyone else doibg?
October 26, 201213 yr I got banded today..and I'm not feeling as bad as I thought I would. The pain is very little, and no gas pains so far (knock on wood).
October 26, 201213 yr Hi, I got banded too today. Home now. Well got Home at 8pm. They fixed my hernia also. Minimal pain. When I initially woke up omg, holy pain!! Took a few shots of pain meds to control it. Glad you both are doing well. So far I don't have gas pain either! Knock on wood!! I have been getting up and doing some walking. A tiny bit of discomfort in chest but nothing too bad. Can't believe I am on the other side!!
October 26, 201213 yr Author Ok I spoke too soon. Lots of gas pain. Bought baby simethicon drops, but not really helping. Very sore on port site. I dont know how much he put in my band, but can definately have more than 2cc of broth. Also anyone know uf a binder helps? FYI, I ordered Nectar, its pretty good. Have only tried ice tea, but not too bad. How is everyone else?
October 26, 201213 yr Got lapband yesterday morning. I had so much pain! Now I have abdominal pain by the incisions. It's been easy sticking to the liquid diet so far. Hopefully I feel the same in a couple days.
October 27, 201213 yr I have not been so lucky coming to the other side as I've been admitted to hospital post op but hope to have turned the corner by am. Ready to change my life!

October 27, 201213 yr Mine too. You can see its swollen. I am staying pretty positive though! Are you having incisional pain?
October 27, 201213 yr Ok I'm a restart been home 8 hrs how do I know what side is my port I have 5 incisions I was able to find my port because it's closer to the top closest to my breast and I had to be Band-Aids covering the incision I'm not sure if yours are the same. I'm not sure about everyone else but I'm having gas pains but I did make sure that bought chewable Gas-X. so when I came home yesterday I had to take two chewable (30 minutes in between) all after that I've been walking around to help pass the gas or Burp.
