Admoninal Pain.

So like many I don't want to call the dr. If there's a possibility it's nothing. But Im about a month post op and the past couple days I've been dealing with stomach pain. Literally from my stomach through my lower abdomin. Is it normal, gas, constipation? Or should I be a little more worried.

why would you not want to call the dr?

they did surgery on you and would offer the advice to come in or not and to see what the problem is (if any).

could be gas. could be constipation. could be whatever.

but if you are afraid to call the dr now over some pain, what would you do if something is really wrong??

your life/health is worth more than that.

take gas x and laxitive if you havent pooed yet and call the doctor.

I have to wonder what kind of relationship you have with your doctor if your afraid to call him when your having pain....I know this forum is for asking questions and advice...but if I have pain...you can be sure Im calling my Doctor too.....Good Luck...

Generally, there should be a nurse in the office you could speak with. Don't ever feel like you are bothering the doctor. That's what they are there for. I know sometimes as newbies we feel like maybe we are making too much of something. I would call your doc, speak to the nurse and explain your symptoms they should be able to offer some guidance. It isn't that we don't want to offer suggestions, we just don't want to steer you down the wrong path and want to make sure you are ok.

I hope this passes soon.

Please call your doctor. Your health/life is too valuable to leave to an online forum. Nobody here is in a position to diagnose you. Yes it could be nothing, but what if it's something serious like internal bleeding.... Yes I am trying to scare you. Please, please, please call your doctor, it's his job and responsibility to manage your care.

Good luck.

Just what I thought its gas and such so I need a fiber suppliment.

Also get Miralax. Too much fiber seems to constipate me. So I have Miralax everyday and it seems to help me.
