I am so nauseatedi have almost thrown up several times today. Sipping water and tea. Ate chicken broth and a little yogurt at different times to try and make nausea go away so far it's still here. Can anybody relate to this.

R u on pain meds? I was on one that made me grab a pail every time. Dr changed med and no problem.

Missy is right, call your surgeon right away.

Nurse put ice cold wash clothes on forehead & neck and had me sniff alcohol. That kept me from vomiting.

I was given some anti nausea meds. Dissolvable ones. Call the dr and get some!

Did you have plication with your band? Nausea seems more common with that surgery. I agree with the above posters that vomiting is not a good thing so soon after surgery as everything is healing right now.

I had a rough 3 days.. and had the same.. even gagging & burping -was dizzy etc.. it was horrible.. but after the 3rd day - it seemed out of my system.. was very strange.. I believe that it was al the pain meds and etc.. if I walked to much I was dizzy.. but I'm 11 days post now- and feel perfectly fine
