Vomiting so soon after surgery is very dangerous, you need to call your surgeon or even go into the ER immediately. They will give you something to stop the vomiting.

I haven't thrown up yet. Not taking any pain meds either. If not better by tomorrow will call the Dr's office. Thank y'all for y'alls help.

Nurse put ice cold wash clothes on forehead & neck and had me sniff alcohol. That kept me from vomiting.

I was given some anti nausea meds. Dissolvable ones. Call the dr and get some!

Did you have plication with your band? Nausea seems more common with that surgery. I agree with the above posters that vomiting is not a good thing so soon after surgery as everything is healing right now.

I had a rough 3 days.. and had the same.. even gagging & burping -was dizzy etc.. it was horrible.. but after the 3rd day - it seemed out of my system.. was very strange.. I believe that it was al the pain meds and etc.. if I walked to much I was dizzy.. but I'm 11 days post now- and feel perfectly fine
