As far or as long as you feel comfortable..............you will gain stamina each day.

yes to above the walking after surgery is to move the gass isnce that is what causes everyone the most pain. Remember the first 4 wks is for rest and healing your body has had a huge shock and needs this time to heal so let it the hard work is just around the corner dont rush it.

my surgery was a 9.20 am. on Friday. I was released at 12.20 pm and went to my cousins for a short nap. About 2pm we went shopping and stayed out for a few hours. I felt great except for a little gas in my shoulders.

Went shopping yesterday and this morning and still feel good. The walking really helps.

I have a 3 hour drive home tomorrow that I am not looking forward to. I plan on stopping a lot along the way.
