1. Drinking with food can make your food slide threw your pouch, so you don't feel satisfied very long.

2 If you get stuck that Fluid backs up until you blow. By blow I mean puke and its very painful, according to my Dr.

my Dr. explain to me you have to drink 30 to 45 min before and after meal. because when you eat your meal you don't want to go fast on your sophagus and you will have a really bad pain and you may feel emty and need to eat more, so you have to eat and wait. that way you feel full. I am still learning the process is hard when you used to eat and r

drink at the same time.

So if u eat something like Peanut Butter, or something spicy, you can't have even a tiny sip to clear your mouth? What do other people do if they eat food like that?

Trying eating a price of celery or something else cooling after eating spicy.. Or avoid spicy. And I only wash Peanut Butter down w chocolate ;) which by the way is also cooling!

Great ideas :) (esp the chocolate haha). Yesterday I had half an english muffin with Peanut Butter and followed with a small apple and that did the trick.

I believe avoiding salty foods with be what I do. Seems I've gotten less tolerant of salty foods as I've gotten older, so there ya go!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
