Swallowed My Gum

Omg I'm freaking out it just slipped down my throat. I called the nurse she said it should pass but I'm not sure if I should make myself throw up., has this happened to anyone

No, I haven't swallowed gum but NO do not make yourself throw up.

You want to avoid throwing up because it can cause band slippage so don't "make yourself"

If it doesn't pass... and gets stuck, you'll throw up then. Otherwise... if you don't feel stuck I would say it has passed through.

dont make yourself throw up.... just let it pass ... it will eventually. You may want to rethink chewing gun in the future tho.... ;)

Let it pass. You swallow food right? To make yourself feel better try taking chewable papaya pills. I chew gum everyday on my walks.
