Post Op; Day 2.

Okay, so I was banded on October 10th.

Came home yesterday around 3pm.

Got twenty minutes of sleep last night.

But otherwise the pain has only been by my large incision. Which is more to my left side.

I'be been drinking apple juice and water.

Was wondering if peppermint tea or raspberry tea was allowed just yet.

I drank peppermint tea right away, suppose to help with the gas........not sure, but was willing to try anything.

Thank you, I have been dying for a cup of tea. Plus I've heard it is supposed to loosen things up .

I was told no caffine, I could have any liquid that was caffine free. So go for it.

You stayed overnight? (I hope that question isn't too personal) My doctor told me mine is outpatient unless something unexpected happened. I was relieved since i'm a cash patient.

Yes. I did stay over night. Insurance covered it. As well as my mother working in my hospital. So I was able to stay over night. Plus it mandatory. I had surgery early Wednesday. And then Thursday morning, I had to go for an esophogram.
