I know this is a bit too much info but since surgery I have had issues with bowel movements sometimes I go a week without one :/ what do it do

That happened to me, too. Try taking a Fiber supplement daily. If you're actually getting constipated, take a stool softener (NOT a laxative) like Colace daily until you are a little more regular again.

I started stool softener the day after surgery..........not working as good as I would like, but things are moving a bit. 3 weeks out.

Same thing happened to me! I think I pooped about 5 days post-surgery, and it was literally like an m&m!!!! All those suggestions are great! Plus, walk!
