I am getting pain today and nauseated when I lay on my side or on my stomach. Anyone else have this before? When I am on my back not nearly as bad!!

Sorry you are going through this. Is it on the side where your port is? Do you still have your gallbladder?

I just had my surgery on Monday, September 10, and today I am having pain up in between the port incision and the incision right in the middle between my breast. Is this normal?

I had my surgery on Monday the 10th as well (yay!) and I am still very sore at my port site, and still experiencing a LOT of gas pain. Nurse said it is all normal... Hopefully she is right. :)

I was very concerned about pain and nausea after sx. I work with the md who did my surgery and made sure he used local on me. I have chronic pain and was concerned that the pain meds wouldnt work. But it did. Only had gas discomfort for 2 days. My surgeon only does 3 lap sites!!
