How Much Should I Be Walking?

I Was re- banded (long story) 6 days ago. I had a lot of pain etc that seems to be passing now, although I have a lot of gas pain still. About how much should I be walking now? I try to get up and walk a few minutes each hour I'm awake, but should I be aiming for longer walks too? I realize it is different for each person bit some general hints would be great. Thanks!

Just go with your own bodies rate of healing. Keep walking a couple times an hour and when you feel better, walk longer/further. Don't try to rush things because right now it is all about proper healing.
