A Small Success

  • Popular Post

its not a (huge) success but to me everything and wanted to share w/my bandits.

about 3 or 4 months ago (my friend here at work, kathy) and i would go

somewhere for an hour lunch. before surgery, she would have to go get

the car and bring it around to where i was (as it was parked a distance away).

i couldnt do it. i was too (large) and not able to walk across the parking lot.

but today, she commented to me about that and saying, now you can.

as martha stewart says, its a good thing

That's an awesome victory and cause for being proud of yourself!

Way to go. That is so awesome! Little things like this really add up. :)

Awesome Virginia!! Small successes certainly add up. Funny thing my wife said to me in the grocery store the other day. I used to struggle walking the store and keeping up with her now she is the one who tries to keep pace with me. My back and legs no longer ache. Just the simple walking of the grocery store is so liberating. So I definitely know how you feel.

It's a success enough said.

Any are a move in the right direction

congrats

keep it up!!

(i may have took my health, my walking, my legs for granted once, but never again)

That really put a big smile on my face : )

I can't wait to be there with you.

You are my awesome rocking pretty pink b***h, for sure!!!

Spectacular!!!! That is fantastic!

I know exactly how you feel, I used to start huffing and puffing after five minutes of walking and I used to move slower than a snail. Fast forward 56 pounds down and I can easily walk a few hours without getting breathless and the best thing my kids say hey mum slow down lol.

Amazing little victories for many but huge accomplishments for those who have struggled in the same ways. Monumental!!!!!!! Congrats!
