On The Other Side

Good morning, everyone. Thanks so much for your prayers and good wishes. Went in today at 7:30 and was on my way home at 11:00 a.m. Everything went smoothly...no pain, other than a little gas in the left shoulder. Water going down just fine. Wonderful care team and a piece of cake, so far. Hope everyone else is doing well.

Congrats!!! Welcome to the other side. Mine was a piece of cake as well. with each day I felt better and better. By my one week post op appt. I almost felt normal. FYI....the gas strips everyone talks about, they don't work. Heating pad and plenty of walking helps the best. Good Luck!!

I can't even believe that it has been a month already since I had surgery :o I'm back at work, school, the gym, you name it, it's business as usual. In the beginning my heating pad was my best friend but you'll be back to yourself in no time! Good luck!
