Worried?

Hey everyone...I suppose, I have a stupid question...but I'm going to ask it anyway.

So last Thursday I went in for my 1 month post-op visit. The DR cleared me to exercise. Since then I've been at the gym everyday doing 1hr cardio (couch to 5K and either elliptical or stair master) I alternate weights every other day. Since I started the gym I have not lost weight. I was losing every week up until this week. I actually gained a lb. :-( I'm kinda bummed and worried that I'm going to fail. I called the DR but they didn't return my call. I guess I just want to know if this is normal, or if anyone has experienced this and if I should not go to the gym until I get to goal?

Thx is advance...Jess :-)

Muscle also burns more calories even at rest. So the more muscle you have the more your metabolism burns.

I just got refilled a month ago after having a baby. The scale has not moved a single pound, but I'm down two sizes in jeans. Since it's discouraging to see the same number, I've stopped weighing and go by my clothes. I know it's working!!!

Sounds like it is working. Keep up the great work! :-)
