For how long?

Prepare yourself to be deprived. It won't be fun but the reward will be worth it. Keep your eye on the golden ring.

I love how you sugar coated it to ease the pain..... lol (luv ya, tmf)

Good luck with your journey. We are her to offer you support when you need it. The pre op diet is about preparing your liver for surgery and the post op diet is about your stomach healing. Try not to worry about weight loss during this time. Make sure you have a good supply of sugar free Popsicles they saved me during the liquid stage. Take care and keep us posted.

What type of Pre-op diet do you have to do? My surgery is 9/14 ad I got to do the sugar busters for 2 weeks.

Seems like there are so many posts every day from people on these pre-op diets crying to the high heavens about how difficult it is and is it really necessary? I thought I'd just cut to the chase. Maybe it's my "Sheldon Cooper" showing? :D

Sorry garza if I offended! I'm kindof a "just the facts" kindof guy.

Hi everyone,

Im pretty much on a 2-a day Protein shake with a small meal for dinner. I know it will be hard but, my mind is set that I know I can do this! I've suffered for so long with my weight, and I have never wanted something more that this.

I went to the Dr. today and got all my blood work done, so I am CLEAR for surgery!

I know as long as I have GOD on my side, everything will be ok! HE has been there for me, and has answered many of my prayers. :)
