Forum How To's?

Hi, I've been around for a few days. Figured out as much as I could without help, but I still don't understand how to #1) add friends? and #2) choose a before pic?

I'm sure these must be posted somewhere, but I haven't stumbled across them anywhere yet.

Sorry pjsurratt, but your "Forum How To" caught my eye so I figured you might want to know how to do this too. Ha. (Obviously, I'm new to navigating on this forum as well.)
