thanks for responding. I am getting closer and I have a nervous excitement! And Questions keep coming up in my head(smile) I guess I feel security in "knowing"

I got my appetite about three days after. There are very, VERY few who report no appetitie again- I'm thinking of Muelle (http://www.lapbandtalk.com/user/305700-muelle/), who since banding has not had an appetite.

Im 7 days post op and mine really returned yesterday .... it sucks cause I could eat with no problems right now

Every time I've gone under general anesthesia ( 5 times), I completely lose my appetite for a week!

I got mine back within two days! It stunk!! But everyone is different!

I was banded on Aug 1, 2012. So I am now 6 days post op yeaaaaa! I got my appetite back about day 3. What I noticed though is that I find myself drinking a few sips of say my protein shake.. then I lose interest in it, and think hmmmm I wonder if something else will be better, so I go and trade it for some jello, take a bite .. lose interest... go back and see what else there is.. hahah.. I think that means I'm full, but since I have never felt "Full" before.. I'm having a little trouble recognizing it. lol.

Day 3 it was back, day 5 I was miserable I was soooo hungry. It gets better but I hated my band until my first fill.

Yesterday was my first day of really being hungry and I was banded July 12. Today not hungry so far after eating breakfast. I eat more but not as much as ore band. Waiting on first adjustment August 22.

I had no appetite for about 3 days after I was banded on July 26. I can't wait to get a fill now. It's hard to fight the hunger.
