Period

Banded July 24 and have done great! Now it's time for my period and I feel like a truck has run over me and I'm having so many mood swings...is this normal? I hate feeling like this!

Is it any different to your period before you were banded? If not, then you definitely don't need to worry. If it is different, then it is most likely still ok as your body adjusts to surgery and weight loss. Just be sure to take care of yourself and see your dr if you are worried.

My nipples hurt worse, my back hurts worse, and my temper is worse than normal...but I'm figuring it's bc my hormones are finally working on their on since my weight loss is good...;) My period used to be sporadic but now it seems to be on track...I just wondered if periods become worse after the band is put in and if it was normal...thanks for answering me ;)

My surgery totally messed up my periods sweetie. I had 2 in the same month right afterwards. It's just your body adjusting to everything and the weight loss. You should be ok but if it doesn't level out in the next couple months you may wanna talk to ur Dr.
