I Need Help!! Slime And Mucus!!

Hi everyone so I got a fill last Friday, and was fine up until Tuesday. I started to have a slimy in my throat and mouth. It's causing me to not keep anything food or liquids down. I'm constantly throwing up, and spitting up this nasty discharge. Is there any suggestions on how to stop this? I've been without food and liquids for three days and I'm desperate. I've called the doctor and he's not available. Any type of help would be greatly appreciated!!! :(((

All I can say is keep calling the doctor. I'm pretty new at this fill/green zone thing, but it sounds like maybe you're too tight? Keep on your doctor. If he isn't available ask for a partner or their nurse/MA.

You might just have a little swelling. If your doctor is unavailable, put yourself back on liquids for a few days. Try drinking cold beverages. It will help reduce the swelling. If it isn't any better after 3 or 4 days go for an unfill. I'm sure your doctor will be available by then.

Dehydration is nothing to mess with. You are too tight. Get help.

I agree with Cocoabean. 3 days is long enough and you prob aren't going to get better. I had that happen last month too and tried to wait it out. Waited until Thursday and unfort they were in surgery on Friday so I waited til Tuesday to get some out. It was a long wait! I'd get in as soon as possible.

So I ended up finding a different doctor and he did an un-fill. Let me say that I feel soooo much better! I was WAY too tight. I'm going to stick with this doctor bc the doctor I was previously with was a total jerk. They just kept ignoring me! This new doctor offered to monitor me and he is so much closer than my previous doctor. Thanks for the advise everyone. It's much appreciated!
