It's Finally Been Made Official!

Doctors office called me yesterday and finally told me my insurance has APPROVED my procedure! I started the whole process back in September 2011. Surgery is scheduled for August 27th. The one question I was asked and don't have an answer is- which band?! I have NO clue! I am Super excited!

My doctors office said the bands are basically the same EXCEPT the Realize band is more forgiving.

I went with the Realize because I don't want the band to tell me what I can and can not eat.

That is a choice I want to make for myself.

I am three months out tomorrow with two fills and I have had trouble eating steak and roast beef but nothing else. So I just cut it smaller and chew it more.

Good luck to you on your journey.

My sister works for Allergan, who makes a band. I've read lots of Allergan findings and lab studies and have selected a surgeon who uses the Allergan band. As the band is only a tool, either band is good, but only as good was when we work to achieve our goals. Be positive!

Sooooo happy for you....

If your anything like I was...I couldnt stop smiling for

two days when I got my call...

I have the realize band...and doing good so far...
