I'm a little over a month post op and Im having some pain near the bottom of my right rib and its pretty sore to the touch just wondering if anyone else experinced this

    if its near your port, it most likely is scar tissue building up around it. mine was very sensitive to the touch about a month out. it gets better. if in doubt, call the dr tomorrow and let them know.

I haven't experienced it but it might be something going on with your port. Call your dr ASAP!

if its near your port, it most likely is scar tissue building up around it. mine was very sensitive to the touch about a month out. it gets better. if in doubt, call the dr tomorrow and let them know. it will make you feel better.

I am 2 1/2 yrs out and still have soreness at my port site. Exercise, sitting to lying on that side causes it to be sore. No biggie.

What's considered the port the port site I thought it was where they filled it and it's on my left side near my belly button

You should definitely let your surgeon and primary care physician know about this pain. Are you experiencing any nausea?

I have had similar pain, and also nausea, and have discovered through the series of medical tests that it is all related to my gall bladder.
