Post Op Diet

My surgery was July 5th, and per my Docs instructions I'm on clear liquids for 1week. So even though my appetite hasn't returned, I've been wanting something other than jello,sf Popsicles, etc, etc, so badly. Well today I found a quick easy way to get some delicious broth "soup". The Marachan instant lunch noodles!! Add water to the cup as usual and microwave, but just strain the noodles, carrots, etc with a strainer, and you have a very delicious broth!

This is what I have been living on the pre op liquid diet because the boxed broths are disgusting! It is yummy!

I know! Just wish I would've found it earlier!

Trust me, you would get sick of it. I've been experimenting with different flavors but I'm about to go crazy! I don't think I can ever eat ramen noodles again after the preop and postop stages! However, it is better than the other broths. I'm glad you like it! I also strain Campbell's chicken noodle Soup and beef vegetable if you want to try that! You mix the the can of soup with Water and I usually add some black pepper, boil and then strain! Yummmo!
