Made It Through Surgery Today

I made it through the surgery today and have been home for 4 hours. With the pain meds I am comfortable except for the gas pains. I am able to get up and down on my own And have been able to lay on my side. I am hoping I can walk out side in the morning to get the gas pains to go away. Keeping the water down has been easy so far hope it stays that way.

First of all congrats on being banded! Get ready to enjoy the long and crazy ride the lapband journey has to offer. Wish you a well and speedy recovery

You know, I don't mean to brag, but I never had those gas pains. And from all the posts I see about them I think I was very fortunate. Although my wife says I'm a pain and gassy :P

Thank you everyone I'm improving each hour

Congratulations on your surgery! Just wanted to drop a note also to say my doctor recommended using Gas-X strips for the gas pain as well as the walking. And the heating pad worked well too. The gas pains were gone by the 8th day for me, but hopefully sooner for you! :)

I'm so glad I was another lucky one that didn't have the gas pains. My biggest pain was shoulder pain, and I don't have that anymore either. Congrats on getting banded. Hope you have a speedy recovery!!!!

Congratulations and Praise the good Lord.

Congrats I was banded on Thursday Day three is worlds better. Walking is better today except near my port
