Post Op Exercise

I am 18 days post op, and still can't bend over to put on my tennis shoes to exercise because of soreness where my port is. How long does this usually last? I'm so ready to start exercising!

I had mild port pain like my an muscle was still healing for about 2.5 weeks. I'm 1 month post op and have zero pain now. Good luck.

I'm 17 days post op and can barely bend over or lean over, still uncomfortable so I feel your pain. I did manage to walk 2 days this past week when the weather wasn't so hot but I had on flip flops. Can't get out and walk now as it's topping 107 degrees here in Kentucky. The exact spot where my port is is very tender and sore to touch, I hope this eases some with time.

I was banded on june 12th too! I didnt have any gas pain or really any soreness ive been able to do just about whatever :) surely it will pass soon and you can get to excercising! congrats on the weight loss!! :D

I was banded in March and still have tenderness at my port area. If I don't sit up straight itstarts to verge on hurting instead of being tender. My mom would be so proud of my posture! Good luck all. In my eyes it is worth a small ouch when bending over!!!
