Paying For It

Had my first 'oops' today and I'm paying for it!! I am about 3 weeks post op, still on mushies, and ate lunch at 11:00. After work my husband picked me up and we went car shopping. I missed my afternoon snack and we didn't get done at the car dealers until after 7, home until 8:30. I was SO hungry. Overly hungry. My head is POUNDING. I came home and tried to eat slowly some quick protein but it was too late, I was shakey and still can't shake the headache. Any ideas for portable snacks when still on mushies?

Cups of applesauce.. No added sugar.

U can take a yoghurt with you, or a premade protein drink.. planning is essential to keep on track ..

Motts makes these applesauce pouch things that you can eat w/o a spoon.

Also baby food pouch things.

Pre-mixed Protein Shakes.

banana (take tiny bites and smoosh it in your mouth).

Stop at KFC and get mashed potatoes.

A Campbell's "Soup at Hand".

I've been on mushies 2 days ... can you tell I've given this some thought? ;)

THEY MAKE THEY KID POUCHES OF FRUIT SAUCE AND THEY DONT HAVE TO BE REFRIGERATED.. YOU JUST TWIST THE TOP OFF AND SUCK IT OUT... I GET THEM AT THE DOLLAR STORE DOWN HERE... ITD BE SOMETHING EASY TO JUST CARRY AROUND IN YOUR PURSE JUST IN CASE!!!
