My tentative surgery date is July 23rd because of my work schedule. It may change by a week but it looks like I'm gonna be a July baby. Anyone else out there that will be banded in July?

My lap band surgery date is July 5. And I am so nervous, I pushed the date back from June 7 to this date. I don't really have the support I did when I was preparing for it. That's why I came on here.

IL far ways from CO where I am but we can support each other through the site So exciting to have others going through this at the same time!

JULY!!! Woot Woot! Don't have my exact date yet but It will definitely be JULY! Should be the 1st or 2nd week..hoping the first but idk with their being a holiday smack dab in the middle of the week.

Wish me luck for the first week of July because I AM READY to start this new part of my life!

I'm so glad I found this place! This will be so important once I get banded to be able to find support from other people that are or have gone through the tough things I'll be going through.

Agreed J Lewis I have been on here for a while and when I get anxious or antsy I jump on here to talk.

I dont have my date yet but they told me it'll be july.

So true about this site and So far not heard anything about my date for surgery but I know it is soon Wish there was a support group close to me....hmmm thinking of starting one here

Yes I am! It's taken a lot of nerves to actually go for the operation as I have an immense fear of being put under, it's the reason why I have gotten so big because I have been putting it off because of my fear, it's like I panic because i think what if i don't wake up? or what if panic when I wake up because i can't breathe or see properly. This all may sound so irrational but it's very real for me and it's the worst panic ever.

I am cloustrophobic so that is where this fear stems from.

But because i am the heavest i have ever been i can feel my health going down I have decided that enough is enough.

My surgey date is on the 12th of july! so not long at all and I am will be on the milk diet for two weeks!

So I hope they will be able to give me a pre sedative before i go for surgery so i relax and try not run out of the hospital!

I get nervous and have panic attacks as well so I know what u mean and I hope the best for both of us and the rest of us

I should be in July! I got the call that I am approved, should have a date soon! I hope today! Could be the day before my 30th birthday (July 12th) but I don't care!!!
